I recently discovered the American drama UnREAL and oh my god it is addictive watching. The full box set is available on Amazon Prime, and it is a must watch!

UnREAL is like no other show I've ever watched. The American drama follows the life of the producers on set of a show called Everlasting (which is basically the bachelor). Doesn't sound that interesting does it? Well you couldn't be more wrong. You're left gobsmacked at the way the producers manipulate people for the best footage. They mess with the contestants heads, using their confidential psych evaluations to create traumatic experiences for the contestants. There's murder, suicide, rape, love, cheating, poisoning, and the list goes on. All sounds a bit over the top and dramatic, doesn't it? Well, actually, it's quite scary at how believable the show is; you could actually imagine producers of shows like the Bachelor behaving like that to manipulate people and get the footage that they want. After watching UnReal, I can't watch reality shows in the same way.

UnREAL is the perfect balance of drama and humour (at the expense of Everlasting's host, Graham). Be warned before you watch it, that it is addictive viewing and you will never be able to watch a reality show in the same way again. I loved it and I think you will too! I just wish there was another series!!
